TEACHER LESBO SEX OK, SAYS JUDGE
TWO teachers who had lesbian sex on a classroom floor were NOT a bad influence on pupils, a judge has ruled.
Cindy Mauro and Alini Brito were caught fingering and licking each other out.
They were both sacked and suspended from teaching for two years.
Mauro appealed against the suspension by the New York Department of Education.
Now Manhattan Supreme Court Justice Alice Schlesinger dismissed the accusation that Mauro had “failed as a role model,” ruling that a two- year suspension issued to the teacher should be reduced to one year.
The sapphic sweethearts were caught in flagrante delicto by a security guard at James Madison High School in 2009, with the married Brito lying topless on the floor while Mauro was seen “kneeling between her legs,” according to reports.
In her written explanation for cutting the teacher a break, Schlesinger said the Department of Education was wrong in its report on the issue when it called the pair bad role models.
She wrote: “Both women had unblemished records.”
She added: “The activities, sexual in nature, between two consenting adults involved no students. Nor were any students closer than two floors away from the third- floor classroom where this conduct occurred.”
The teachers have since returned to the classroom in various new roles.
