MEET the latest Coronation Street resident – BRUCE FORSYTH! Urban explorers poking round the old Corrie set last weekend were stunned to see a silhouette of Brucie doing his famous ‘ Thinker’ pose through the net curtains of the Kabin. Coming less than 48 hours after the death of the popular entertainer was announced, the explorers are now convinced they have seen the GHOST of Brucie. One of the explorers – who asked to remain anonymous for fear of reprisals – told Sunday Sport: “We read about how the old Coronation Street set was abandoned and a bit spooky so we went in and had a look. “We thought it might cheer us up a bit because we were all upset at Brucie’s death. The urban explorer community had a lot of time for Bruce Forsyth.

“We managed to get in and it was amazing being where all those preposterous storylines have been played out.

“We were opposite the Kabin when someone looked up and said ‘ Hey, there’s someone in the window’. We looked and there was no mistaking that pose. It was Bruce – or, rather, the ghost of Bruce.

“It seemed strange his unquiet spirit would turn up on the Corrie set but when we got home we googled Bruce and found out he’d been a big fan of the soap.”

Sir Bruce’s death was announced to a devastated nation earlier this month.

As a mark of respect, the government ordered Big Ben to fall silent for FOUR YEARS.
