Vice President men axed for romps on duty

Sunday Sport - - NEWS -

U. S. Vice President Mike Pence has sacked three members of his security detail after they were caught having sex on duty.

The Army soldiers were part of a group assigned to the security team and were carrying out a check in advance of Pence’s visit to Panama.

Defence officials said Pence’s office made its decision after reviewing security camera video from their hotel showing the soldiers bringing women into a “secure area” – thought to be their hotel rooms.

A White House official said the sex took place before Pence ( above) left the United States for his tour of Latin America.

A source said: “Security staff are expected to display the very highest level of professionalism. There can be no excuse for bringing unauthorised persons into secure areas. It’s the security of the goddamned Vice President were talking about here.”
