IF you fly Ryanair, you know you won’t be served free champagne in the departure lounge or have your brow mopped mid- flight.

But you do more or less expect there to be a plane to take you to your destination.

So the Ryanair flight cancellation debacle has come as a big blow to fans of low- cost travel.

And sun- seeker Francesca Davies is particularly upset.

For today she should be sunning her busters on the Costa Brava, but instead she’s stuck in her terraced house in Edinburgh.

Care worker Francesca, 27, had been due to fly out to Barcelona on Thursday but her flight – along with around 2,000 others – has been cancelled by Ryanair.

Last week the airline warned around 400,000 travellers that their flights had been axed because of a foul- up regarding its pilots’ holidays.

Ryanair’s boss Michael O’Leary said: “While over 98 per cent of our customers will not be affected by these cancellations over the next six weeks, we apologise unreservedly to those customers whose travel will be disrupted, and assure them that we have done our utmost to try to ensure that we can re- accommodate most of them on alternative flights on the same or next day.

“This is a mess of our own making. I apologise to all our customers for any worry this has caused them.” A HIGH school teacher has been arrested and charged for sucking off an underage student.

Samantha Lee Ciotta was booked on suspicion of unlawful sexual intercourse and oral copulation with a minor in Beaumont, California.

The Beaumont Police Department say the 32- year- old Beaumont High School teacher ( left) had sexual intercourse with a student several months.

The student also told authorities that the pair had communicated inappropriately through messaging platforms.

It’s believed that when the pair were apart, the teacher kept the flame of young lust alive by sending the lad pictures of her using a 12- inch dildo on her wet minge.

Married mother- of- one over Ciotta was placed on leave by the Beaumont Unified School District during the police investigation into the matter.

It’s unclear if the victim is a student who Ciotta taught at the school.

She was released from custody at the Larry D. Smith Correctional Facility after posting £ 150,000 bail.
