Sexologist, Jessica O’Reilly also believes that summer is the season of sex, because people are generally more sociable and exercise more, which can make them horny.

Dr O’Reilly, of the University of Texas, in Austin, also says that a drop in melatonin levels we experience from being in the sunny weather lights ups our libido, because melatonin can block sex hormones.
