Lollipop lady sacked over topless photo

PART- time council worker Eve Metcalfe claims she lost her coveted job as a lollipop lady just for flashing her boobs.

Eve, 72, bared her mammaries on a dating site “for older people” in a bid to attract a man back into her life.

But she reckons her bosses were appalled when they came across the website, saw Eve’s flesh photos and immediately SACKED her.

Eve, who worked for a council in the West Midlands which cannot be named for legal reasons, told Sunday Sport: “I’m really upset about this.

“I was widowed in my 40s and out of respect to my late husband, Les, and our two children, I decided to forgo a love life for a while.

“But when I reached my late 60s I realised I really missed the intimacy and fun of a grown- up relationship.

“It’s not the easiest thing to do, I discovered, but then I was shown how to use the internet and signed up for a dating agency.

X- rated

“Some of the pictures other people put up are X- rated so I thought I had to keep up with that, to be in with a chance of finding someone.

“That’s why I posted a photo of my boobies. They’re still in pretty good nick for someone of my age. The pic was never meant to offend anyone.”

On losing her lollipop lady role, Eve said: “I’m gutted. I’ll miss the smiles on all those kiddies’ faces.”

A spokesmen for the unnamed council said the organisation would not comment on individual cases, but added: “We do have rules that relate to bringing the council’s name into disrepute.”
