Spoons’ EU spat

Sunday Sun - - News -

TWO of the most popular brands at pub favourite JD Wetherspoon could disappear from the menu as its owner takes a pro-Brexit stance against Brussels.

Tim Martin, a prominent Leave supporter, has said he will stop stocking any beers or coffee made by EU members if trade deals with the UK are blocked.

That could mean no more Italian Lavazza coffee or Swedish Kopparberg cider at their nearest Wetherspoon if they become more expensive after Brexit.
