Boro have a group of cre­ative play­ers who have the abil­ity to set-up enough goal chances to win most of their home games by a wide mar­gin.

So, while there is not a great deal wrong, there are some prob­lems which must be ad­dressed.

Too of­ten Boro have started ex­tremely slowly at home. They have given op­po­nents the chance to build con­fi­dence and get a strong foothold in the game.

No­body ex­pects Boro to come out with a gung-ho ap­proach against Cardiff and leave po­ten­tial gaps at the back.
