A winter wonderland is hoping to help people in need.

Santa’s Wish has opened in a shop in the upstairs part of Castle Dene Shopping centre for families to visit. The store has been decked out like a Santa’s grotto with lots of trees, decorations and lights, also playing Christmas music.

But, instead of paying to see Santa, people are asked to leave a gift donation with him so they can be distributed to those in need this Christmas.

Donations can be a range of things, from food to new toys, toiletries, new clothing, pet food and items, and event cash gifts. Every little bit will help someone less fortunate this Christmas.

The organisers also have a Santa’s post box inside Santa’s Wish, where people can made a donation and write a message on a Christmas bauble then put it on one of the lovely real Christmas trees.
