EDF employees going for gold
Employees at EDF Energy’s Doxford call centre have hit gold.
Staff have been celebrating after being recognised in a companywide scheme, which rewards those who go the extra mile.
The ‘Going for Gold’ scheme was introduced in 2016 to reward those who go above and beyond in their community, through their fundraising efforts and charity work.
This year, 12 employees at EDF Energy Doxford secured awards. Gavin Anderson, Vicky Robinson, Nicola Robinson and Lisa Sidney all bagged the highest gold rating, while six colleagues were recognised with a silver award, and two with bronze.
Team manager Lisa Sidney was delighted to win the gold award for the second year in a row: “It is an amazing feeling to have won this award twice. I am incredibly proud to have been recognised again this year,” she said.
