Daniel Bray, re­tire­ment hous­ing man­ager at Ber­ni­cia, said: “We’re pas­sion­ate about over the age of 55, help­ing peo­ple to stay in­de­pen­dent for longer, and it is with great pride that we have cel­e­brated the scheme’s 25th an­niver­sary with its res­i­dents, as well as Carol’s 25 years’ long ser­vice – whose work with the res­i­dents has been in­valu­able.”

Chilling­ham House has also re­cently ben­e­fit­ted from a £60,000 makeover, in which the build­ing was mod­ernised with fresh dé­cor in­clud­ing new fur­ni­ture in the com­mu­nal lounge, and new car­pets, cur­tains and blinds through­out.
