Sea Star went down the Lürssen ways in 1963 as a 44-metre, 42-knot Jaguar Type 140 patrol boat for the German Navy. In 1972 Germany gifted her to Turkey where she remained in active service for another ten years. After some years of inactivity, the Selah Shipyard in Tuzla took her in hand and relaunched her in 2007 as a deep-vee, hard-chine, teak-decked yacht. Eliad Hagiladi at Yacht Marine has the central agency. She has been re-engined with two 16v MTUS and 1,500nm at 16 knots is available. There is room for ten in five suites.
