GOING UP

SUMMER GOALS:

The start of summer presents the perfect opportunity to set yourself some seasonal goals. More beach BBQs, hitting the surf before work and getting outdoors every weekend are high on our list.

CREATIVE FESTIVAL FASHION:

Upcycle some of your existing clothes and turn them into Coachella-worthy masterpieces ready for the festival season. Add patches, sew on fluffy pom-poms, fray some shorts or make a flower crown to save money on a new outfit and add a dose of individuality to your look. How about a little orange and pink?

GETTING WAVY:

If you’ve become a slave to the straighteners, now is the time to banish them and embrace the waves and a more relaxed, low maintenance look. It’s all about the beachy mermaid waves.

THAT’S THE TICKET:

A bit of forward planning now might mean you won’t miss out the events that will make your summer. Whether it’s a plane, festival or workshop ticket, now is the time to get those babies booked!

CRASHING DOWN

NETFLIX AND CHILL:

It’s the end of sofa hibernation season and time to ditch the movie marathons and series binging. Outdoors and adventure are the new Netflix and chill.

DENIM NAPPY SHORTS:

Ok we are saying it… we are over the denim short shorts. Not only is every single festival-goer wearing them, but we just don’t want to see anyone’s cheeks hanging out anymore. More is more gals.

CAR PARK CHARGES:

Hooray, it’s warm, sunny and time to get out there. Oh wait, there is nowhere to park. Plus, when you finally find a spot you have to pay a pretty price to park in it. Popular surf spots come at a price when it comes to parking by them in summertime.

LITTER BUGS:

Throwing rubbish out your window, dropping litter at festivals or leaving your waste behind on the beach is just not cool or good for the planet. If you can’t recycle it, then at least bin it folks.
