CCTV ap­peal af­ter phone shop rob­bery

CCTV images have been re­leased in con­nec­tion with an armed rob­bery at Car­phone Ware­house, in Red­hill.

Po­lice are ap­peal­ing for the public’s help fol­low­ing the in­ci­dent at the store in War­wick Quad­rant on Fri­day Au­gust 25.

Ac­cord­ing to of­fi­cers, two men en­tered the shop just af­ter 4pm and threat­ened mem­bers of staff with a knife be­fore steal­ing a num­ber of goods.

Po­lice would now like to speak to the two peo­ple pic­tured in the im­age.

The first man is white, with light-coloured hair which is short on the sides and longer on top. He was wear­ing black sun­glasses, a Nike T-shirt and dark shorts.

Po­lice said the sec­ond man is black, was wear­ing a dark-coloured track­suit and dark sun­glasses.

No one was in­jured dur­ing the rob­bery.
