RESIDENTS and visitors to Guildford have again shown their support to the town’s businesses and service providers, voting in their thousands for the Experience Guildford Customer Service Awards.

This week we focus on those businesses shortlisted within the Lifestyle & Leisure, Health and Beauty categories.

Each of the shortlisted businesses will now be visited and assessed by a ‘secret shopper’ who will anonymously evaluate and feedback on their standard of service.

The final winners will be announced at an awards ceremony on Monday October 2 at the Yvonne Arnaud Theatre

The theatre itself is shortlisted for a third time – a contender in the Leisure & Lifestyle category.

Theatre director James Barber said: “We’re incredibly grateful for the public’s support. Thank you.

“The theatre is here for the community to enjoy and being shortlisted for a customer service award is a terrific endorsement of the way in which we engage with our visitors.”

“We have a hard-working, dedicated team who endeavour to ensure everyone enjoys their visit to our theatre, so it’s lovely to know that our visitors appreciate the service we provide, so much so that they have very kindly taken the time to vote for us.”

Shortlisted for the first time in the awards, Red Hot Yoga appears within the Health category alongside two of the town’s high street
