Woman es­capes from 2am al­ley­way at­tack

AN at­tempted sex­ual as­sault in Dork­ing dur­ing the early hours of Satur­day is un­der in­ves­ti­ga­tion.

The fe­male vic­tim was walk­ing back to her car in West Bank and crossed over Vin­cent Drive by the traf­fic lights when she was pulled into an al­ley­way, known as The Strug­gle.

Sur­rey Po­lice said she was ‘pushed to the ground be­fore be­ing as­saulted’.

The woman man­aged to break free and run away from the at­tack, which took place at around 2am.

In a state­ment from Sur­rey Po­lice, the sus­pect was de­scribed as wear­ing dark cloth­ing and hav­ing an un­pleas­ant smell.

Of­fi­cers would like to speak to any­one who saw any­thing sus­pi­cious in the area at the time, or any­one who has any other in­for­ma­tion.
