SUNBURY councillor Alfred Friday married Kaye Stubley at St Mary’s Church, Sunbury, on Sunday. The best man was Roger Hackett and the bride was given away by her brother, Martin, with her daughter, Debbie, and her granddaughters, Blythe and Lyla, acting as bridesmaids. Family and friends had travelled to the wedding from around the UK and Spain to enjoy the beautiful day including Mayor of Spelthorne Suzy Webb and Cllrs Tim Evans and Ian Harvey. The ceremony was conducted by the Reverend Paul Davis, vicar of St Mary’s, and the reception was held at The Magpie, where the newlyweds were greeted by around 60 guests as they arrived by boat. The couple jetted off after the wedding to spend their honeymoon on the Italian Lakes.
