Man guilty of rape and sex assaults
CHERTSEY: An Epsom man has been convicted of rape and sexual assault following a week-long trial at Guildford Crown Court. On Monday, a jury found Terence PookimLifu, 23, guilty of four counts of rape, three of sexual assault on a female, one charge of assault occasioning actual bodily harm and one count of theft. The offences took place in Chertsey between November 2012 and June 2013. Pookim-Lifu, of Briarwood Rod, was refused bail and is due to be sentenced on Friday January 16.
