Officer solves case of missing shoes

Surrey Herald/News - - NEWS -

A TODDLER was reunited with his lost shoes and socks after a police officer launched a mile-long search to find them. PC Rabin Shrestha retraced the steps of Thomas and his dad, Richard Sutton, in New Haw when it was realised the youngster’s footwear was missing. PC Shrestha said: “A local resident noticed his young son in the pram had lost his shoes and socks while travelling along Woodham Lane. “I then retraced their journey on my bicycle and located the shoes and socks further up the road. The resident was over the moon as pedal-powered Beat Bobby had found the little boy’s shoes.” Richard Sutton later tweeted his appreciation to Runnymede Beat.
