BUR­GLARS un­wrapped Christ­mas presents at a house in Vir­ginia Wa­ter, be­fore leav­ing with cash, jew­ellery and gifts. Po­lice in north Sur­rey are in­ves­ti­gat­ing after a prop­erty in Beech­mont Av­enue was bro­ken into on Thurs­day Novem­ber 27. Among the pos­ses­sions stolen was a white gold beaded neck­lace, be­long­ing to Rox­anne Rapela’s nineyear-old daugh­ter, Rose.
