WALTON CASUALS’ mini resurgence came to an end as they lost for the first time in five Ryman Division One South outings. The 3-1 defeat against Three Bridges at Waterside Drive in front of just 60 people came after two wins and it looked promising for Liam Collins’s rock-bottom side who took the lead in the 32nd minute through Gabriel Odunaike. But they conceded three times in the last 13 minutes, Ben Godfrey’s penalty levelling the scores before Lee Carney and Allan Tait struck in the final four minutes. In Combined Counties Premier, Spelthorne Sports went down to their sixth defeat, 4-3 at Epsom & Ewell. In the Southern Combination Cup second round, Ashford Town made use of home advantage to beat Chessington & Hook 3-1, Samad Kazi, Mitchall Gough and Max Webb scoring the goals.
