The Lancet, painkillers are not the an­swer for over 90 per cent of cases of back pain, in­stead sug­gest­ing ex­er­cises that strengthen your core, such as pi­lates, swim­ming and some types of yoga, for not only eas­ing the dis­com­fort of back pain, but to re­duce the chances of it re­oc­cur­ring.
