At what point does a ‘self-builder’ involve an interior designer?

The Arran Banner - - Self Buid & Renovation -

‘Homeowners want to make sure their project is built or remodelled as efficiently as possible, and that means assembling the right design and build team from the very beginning. People often only start thinking about the interior towards the end of the build process. However, interior space is so much more than just furniture and furnishings. Every surface in an architectural space needs to be considered as part of the overall design. Elements such as colours, textures, proportions, lighting, balance as well as furniture and fabrics all come together in the final scheme. Considering these elements early on can help the success of the whole project.’
