Helping art on Arran

Anyone interested in furthering the arts and crafts sector on Arran is invited to a meeting next Wednesday in Brodick Hall. The new arts co-ordinator, Eileen Wilson, will be there to talk about her ideas for the future and to offer help to groups.

Some will remember a meeting two years ago when around 40 people turned up expecting to meet with Creative Scotland, and the boat let everyone down!

Now, with help from Creative Scotland, the Robertson Trust and North Ayrshire Council there is an arts co-ordinator so the project has an opportunity to develop and grow.

Anyone interested can go along on Wednesday September 13 at 2pm to meet Eileen and to find out how she can help island groups.
