Southend shine in the sun as Brod­ick hit seven against Shisk­ine

Ar­ran Dairies League Southend 4 Lam­lash 0 Sand­braes was bathed in sun­shine for Southend’s home game against Lam­lash on Mon­day night in the Ar­ran Dairies league mak­ing it hot night for foot­ball.

Southend be­gan the game strongly and scored through Don­ald Park with just min­utes gone.

How­ever, Lam­lash stead­ied the ship and the game was much more even for much of the first half.

But, when Stephen Judge scored Southend’s sec­ond the game turned again with the home side even­tu­ally run­ning out 4-0 win­ners thanks to an­other two goals from Gre­gor Crich­ton and Ryan Arm­strong, who was named man of the match. Ar­ran Dairies League Brod­ick 7 Shisk­ine 0 Over in Brod­ick, the home side scored seven without re­ply with Joel Small earn­ing him­self a hat-trick.

Man of the match Toby Wing­ham scored a brace, with Adam McNi­col and Bab­bies MacNeil each on tar­get to make the score 7-0.

The next fix­tures in the Ar­ran Dairies League will see Brod­ick fac­ing Southend at Or­mi­dale Park at 6.30pm and Shisk­ine with a home game against Northend at 7pm on Mon­day June 11.
