Pie in the sky thinking?

MY wife and I were intrigued by the letter from Dave Anderson.

I find it difficult to believe that any government could bring about the Arcadian changes that you suggest or which would be the result of the Labour Party being in government.

You may be looking for a change in morals, attitudes and manners, which ANY government cannot automatically give.

You seem to be forgetting the years that the Labour Party were in government – eeeh, weren’t those grand times? We had so much fun. I don’t think so. You state the we are “Too canny to be conned” in the North East. Don’t you believe it. Politicians have been doing it for years.

Your statements are somewhat Utopian…reminds me of that Blair fellow, him with blood on his hands. ROBERT PHILIP
