The Tiger Who Came To Tea
The Playhouse, Whitley Bay
With the school holidays rapidly approaching their end, this promises a perfect family treat. As young ones nearly everywhere will know, the story features a surprise arrival of a big tiger just as a little girl and her mother are about to sit down to tea. Based on Judith Kerr’s much-loved book, this stage show’s north date follows a hit West End season and audiences can expect a visually lovely adaptation with plenty magic, sing-a-long songs and clumsy chaos revolving around that tea-guzzling tiger. It can be seen at 11am and 2pm on Wednesday and Thursday. See www.playhousewhitleybay.co.uk for more.
