Shakespeare literally too good for Sporting

GUIDEPOST Shakespeare Tavern defeated Ashington Sporting Club 6-3.
The Shakespeare went into a 2-0 lead after just two minutes and then scored two more to go 4-0 up.
At this point, the Sporting Club woke up and pulled two goals back through Jamie Graham.
The visitors then went 6-2 ahead before Graham completed his hattrick.
Jamie Irving notched a treble for the Shakespeare, Jack Anderson (2) and John Spay wth the other goals.
Bebside Inn went down 2-0 at home against Ashington Station Lounge.
Damien Steven claimed both counters for the Lounge.
Ellington Plough also lost at home, this time 5-3 against the Block and Tackle.
Mathew Turner bagged a brace, Jordan Dodds with the other strikes for the Plough.
Bradley Higgins (4) and Kieran Park were on target for Block and Tackle.
High Street were beaten 2-0 by visitors Newbiggin New Ship, Mason Armstrong and MacAuley Burt netting.
Bedlington Social Club United triumphed against Ashington Town Central.
Efforts for the Social Club came from Joe Moscrop (2), Craig Webb, Ben Senior and Andrew Welsh.
Ashington RAOB prevailed 2-1 against their hosts Earsdon Red Lion.
