Bananarama
City Hall
Newcastle plays host tomorrow to the girl band who helped define eighties pop. Siobhan Fahey rejoins Sara Dallin and Keren Woodward for what’s billed as a one-time-only UK tour for the original line-up – in fact it’s the first time the three have ever toured together. They last performed as a trio on The Brits in 1988, with Siobhan then going on to have further success with Shakespeare’s Sister then as a solo artist and the others continuing as Bananarama. So, take the chance to see the original line-up, who made it into the Guinness Book Of Records as the most successful female group of all time; having had more hit singles than any other girl band ever. Visit www.theatreroyal.co.uk for details about the show which, after a support slot at 7.30pm, will see the trio on stage - after the interval - at 8.45pm.
