Obama urged to talk to Kim Dr Tony Campolo,
former spiritual adviser to Bill Clinton, called on President Barack Obama to open talks with the leader of North Korea, Kim Jong-un. He said: “We need to find ways to make friends with North Korea. If your enemy hungers you should feed him, if he’s naked you should clothe him. Those are Jesus’ words. Can we really overcome evil with good or was he being unrealistic? The question is: how seriously do we take the scriptures?” The co-founder of Red Letter Christians, with its emphasis on social justice, Campolo will speak at a private briefing with UK parliamentarians at Portcullis House, Westminster this Wednesday 15 May and at the Christian Resources Exhibition International on Thursday 16 May.
