Views sought on film classifications

The Church of England - - NEWS -

The British Board of Film Classification (BBFC) is asking members of the public for their views on age ratings for films. Christian Concern is urging people to respond to the survey, saying this will cause an impact on how the BBFC rates films in the future, which is important for the protection of children. “Many Christians will feel that the current guidelines are too permissive,” the group says. The BBFC says on its website: “The Review ensures the BBFC Classification Guidelines for age rating films are in step with public opinion”.
