Prophetic voices

The Church of England - - LETTERS -

Sir, Barry Sutton-Jones raises a very important issue about leadership (letter, 28 February) concerning the exceptional floods and storms that have caused widespread hardship. He states: “There has been no prophetic voice... in our current woes ... where are our bishops and archbishops? ... silent - as usual!”

I too feel deep disappointment that the Church of England I love, so often fails in its duty to give strong spiritual and moral leadership we so badly need today.

However, there is one prophetic voice that speaks up for the church and nation: The Rev Dr Clifford Hill, known internationally as a preacher, lecturer, broadcaster and writer, with a scholarly Bible perspective.

Dr Clifford Hill is associated with ‘Issachar Ministries UK’. He has just written two powerful papers: Storms over Britain - Who is to Blame? and Is there a Message?.

Dr Clifford Hill is a godly man and I commend his prophetic ministry.
