THE TEM­PLE­TON Award for 2014 has been awarded to a Czech priest and philoso­pher who il­le­gally worked for the ad­vance­ment of re­li­gious and cul­tural free­doms af­ter the Soviet in­va­sion, de­spite the threat of im­pris­on­ment.
