Chinese church

The Church of England - - Letters -

Sir, Joan Drury’s suggestion that the Church in China cannot be flourishing because of persecution is at odds with Scripture where the two more often than not go together and thus the power of God is demonstrated. Blessed are ye when ye are persecuted for righteousness sake was is and will be a key motif of Christianity, until the Lord returns.

We are all imperfect regarding various doctrines but there is nevertheless a great divide between biblical spirituality and what reads rather more like a political mindset.
