Bairns striker Loy looks to be on his way out

-

A parting of the ways between Falkirk and former Dundee striker Rory Loy looks to be on the cards after a number of clubs picked up on the 29-year-old’s lack of game time at the Bairns.

The forward turned down the chance of a move to St Mirren after a successful loan spell in Paisley for a second stint at Falkirk last summer – but he has only started one game since Paul Hartley took over as manager in September.

It was Hartley who, ironically, was manager at Dens Park when Loy’s time at the Premiership club was ended by mutual consent in July 2017, despite the front man having a year left on his contract.

Informal talks over an exit from Falkirk have taken place.
