Tay­side’s silent tribute to vic­tims

Dundee hosted a silent march to re­mem­ber the vic­tims of the Gren­fell dis­as­ter last night.

The event, pic­tured, mark­ing the first an­niver­sary of the tragedy, saw marchers walk from Albert Square to the City Square, where a vigil for all the vic­tims took place.

Seventy-two peo­ple died in the blaze at the tower block and another 70 were in­jured,

The march was been or­gan­ised by Dundee Trades Union Coun­cil, Fire Bri­gades Union and the Dundee Peo­ple’s Assem­bly and was en­dorsed by cam­paign groups Gren­fell United and Jus­tice4gren­fell.
