Extra train seats for opening of V&A
Trains to Dundee will have extra seats to cope with a surge in visitors expected as the V&A opens this weekend.
The £80.1 million building opens on Saturday and museum bosses anticipate a high number of visitors.
More than 10,000 people are expected to attend an event on Friday, with thousands more visiting on Saturday for a family-based festival along the waterfront.
Scotrail said an additional late-night train will run on Friday from Dundee to Perth, while more than 50 trains on Saturday will operate with extra seats.
Entry to the museum over the opening weekend is reserved for those who have booked tickets.
