Dundee mum ad­mits racially abus­ing Pol­ish neigh­bours

A mother who ad­mit­ted racially abus­ing her Pol­ish neigh­bours had sen­tence de­ferred at Dundee Sher­iff Court yes­ter­day.

Diane Fowler, 49, acted in a racially ag­gra­vated man­ner in Septem­ber last year, shout­ing an ob­scen­ity at a Pol­ish cou­ple from her win­dow on Al­loway Gar­dens.

Fowler’s de­fence so­lic­i­tor said her client had re­ceived a warn­ing from the coun­cil, and she was con­trite about the in­ci­dent.

Yes­ter­day at the court, Fowler ad­mit­ted act­ing in a racially ag­gra­vated man­ner.

Sher­iff Hughes de­ferred sen­tence un­til Novem­ber, for Fowler to be of good be­hav­iour for six months.
