Water babies to swim superhero width for Tommy’s charity
Tiny Fifers are to make a big splash for a baby charity.
Those at Water Babies classes in Dunfermline and St Andrews will take part in Splashathon, a fundraising campaign for Tommy’s.
Babies as young as 12 weeks will dress as superheroes to swim a breadth with their parents next month to support research into miscarriage, stillbirth and premature birth.
Organiser and Water Babies instructor Wendy Lambie said: “All of our parents, and indeed our little swimmers, love taking part in something as important as this event, and of course it’s great fun too!”
Fife’s Splashathons will be held in June in Keavil House Hotel, Woodmill High School and Cairnsmill Caravan Park.
