Fes­tive T-shirts could help raise vi­tal funds for women’s cen­tre

The Women’s Rape and Sex­ual Abuse Cen­tre (WRASAC) in Dundee and An­gus is aim­ing to raise money by hold­ing a “Wear your Christ­mas T-shirt to Work Day” on De­cem­ber 8.

Those tak­ing part will help to change the life of a sur­vivor of sex­ual vi­o­lence.

Or­gan­is­ers have en­cour­aged other busi­nesses to come on board by invit­ing staff to wear their Christ­mas T-shirts and do­nate £2.

The funds will be handed to the cen­tre.

The cen­tre was es­tab­lished in 1999 and plays an im­por­tant role in help­ing the sur­vivors of sex­ual vi­o­lence.
