Stables market given go-ahead
Plans to convert antique stables at a Dundee hotel have been approved in time for a Christmas market to take place this evening.
Taypark House hotel will be transformed into a festive “wonderland” after the council approved planning permission to use the centuries-old stables on the grounds.
The Christmas market launch night will start at 5pm, with local produce makers, crafts people and businesses on hand with stalls and free tasting sessions.
A late-night event will take place every Thursday from 5pm in the run-up to Christmas, featuring live bands, storytelling and gin and beer tastings.
