Man accused of threatening and abusive behaviour to stand trial
A 29-year-old man will stand trial accused of challenging a man to a fight and behaving in an aggressive manner towards a child.
Darren Anderson, of Ettrick Crescent in Dundee, has been charged with behaving in a threatening or abusive manner likely to cause a reasonable person to suffer fear or alarm in that he repeatedly shouted, swore and challenged Brian McLaughlan to a fight on July 9 at Happyhillock Road.
A second charge states that he shouted, swore and behaved in an aggressive manner towards a 13-year-old girl, who cannot be named for legal reasons, on August 1 on the Murraygate.
Anderson has denied the alleged offences and a trial date has been set for February 14.
