Hospital group to mark milestone

The St Andrews Hospital League of Friends is 30 years old this year.

The charity aims to enhance facilities for patients, with examples of support ranging from the purchase of new lightweight trollies for the minor injuries unit to Christmas presents for inpatients.

A recent collection at Morrisons raised £814, and the next fundraising event is a coffee morning in St Andrews Town Hall on Saturday from 10am to noon.

Chairman Graham Watson said: “We are extremely grateful for all the help we received and we look forward to seeing a large number of people at our coffee morning.”
