£95,000 drug seizure

A man has appeared in court after police seized £95,000 of drugs.

Officers recovered the Class B substance after stopping a car at Dalwhinnie on Monday night.

Francis Donohue appeared in private at Perth Sheriff Court accused of a charge under the Misuse of Drugs Act.

The 53-year-old, from Liverpool, made no plea or declaration and was granted bail.

The case was continued for further examination.
