Scot Jack McDonald tied for sixth place on nine-under-par 201 in the MENA Tour’s Sahara Kuwait Championsh­ip at Kuwait City yesterday. McDonald, who turned pro in March after a successful amateur career, had rounds of 65, 69 and 67. The Scot finished four shots behind winner, Yorkshirem­an Joe Heraty Former Scottish U18 boys’ champion Paul Doherty slipped to a final position of joint 13th on 204 with rounds of 67, 65 and 72 for six-under 204.
