Fighting for fanatics

There was a time when wrestling was guaranteed to draw huge crowds. Stars such as Giant Haystacks and Big Daddy were genuine megastars, their bouts providing prime time hits for TV stations.

These days, bringing two rival attractions to Dundee on one night may seem a tad optimistic, but promoters are evidently confident of delivering a big hit — clearly wrestling still has a hold on many locals.
