Is Tay still dredged?

“The recent photograph of Earl Grey Dock with its dredgers and sand boats, makes me wonder – is the Tay still dredged?” says a regular reader.

“If it is, who gets the sand? It was a must for us, after our many visits to the ‘Shorers’ to exit the dock, via the Royal Arch, and watch the lorries (and carts) being loaded direct from the boats.”
