Buildings on the shortlist

The Rings is one of three Fife buildings shortlisted in the RICS Scotland Awards.

Also in the running for the architectural accolade are Kelty Community Centre and Kirkcaldy’s Windmill Community Campus.

As well as a community centre Fife Council’s £7.3 million building in Kelty’s Main Street provides an extension to the local primary school and houses the library, local office, sports facilities, a learning suite and studios for music and dance.

Windmill Community Campus, built at a cost of £21.5m by the council, brings together under one roof Viewforth High School, Rosslyn Primary School and the former Sinclairtown Library.

The winners will be announced on April 26.
