My Style

- by Christina Miller

JOANNE SAYS

My style is always completely casual. Nothing influences it – I wear whatever’s clean and very little thought goes into it. I do like different shoes though, I guess they’re my weakness.

Joanne’s striped top and jeans make the perfect summer wardrobe, no matter where you are. It’s a great look with flats for running errands, or teamed with wedges for a chilled holiday vibe. If there is one quick and easy way to update your wardrobe this summer, it’s by adding a statement sleeve to your collection.

Mandi Candi has many options for day time: off-the shoulder shirts in white and blue, the sleeves puffed and ruc hed, respectively; paisley prints with flared sleeves by way of playsuits and tops; floral tunics with bell sleeves; and gingham blouses with layered frilled sleeves.

Evening wear is easy – the high street is full of LBDs with cold shoulders, and a dress with slashed batwing sleeves is usually relatively easy to come by.

Alternatively, choose a pair of simple black cigarette trousers or jeans and team with Next’s bell sleeved white jacquard top. Add bold earrings and killer heels for a night on the town.
