Trust brings theatrics to the out­doors this sum­mer

The Na­tional Trust for Scot­land is host­ing a range of out­door the­atre pro­duc­tions across its his­toric sites in cen­tral Scot­land this sum­mer, in­clud­ing two of its most pop­u­lar sites in Fife.

The Merry Wives of Wind­sor, pre­sented by The Fes­ti­val Play­ers The­atre Com­pany, is one of the events staged as part of the trust’s sum­mer 2017 out­door the­atre se­ries.

The first out­door pro­duc­tion will take place at Kel­lie Cas­tle to­mor­row, fol­lowed by a show at Falk­land Palace on Sat­ur­day.

Kirsty Howat, vis­i­tor ser­vices man­ager at Kel­lie Cas­tle, said: “View­ers can watch the colour­ful pro­duc­tion in a beau­ti­ful out­door set­ting.
